Getting Ready for Madison
October 28th-31st

We want you to go Mad for Madtown at IFEC’s annual conference in Madison, WI October 28-October 30, 2019 at the beautiful Edgewater Hotel. Join industry colleagues at the premier foodservice communications event this fall in a resort style hotel on the banks of Lake Mendota. New this year, an expanded First Course offsite immersion opportunity at the Center for Dairy Research, listen to noted futurist Simon J. Anderson in his keynote address “Feeding the Future: Emerging Trends and Technologies Transforming Food” and learn about the history of supper clubs from Kyle Cherek, host of Wisconsin Foodie. Explore the only capital city on an isthmus, indulge in a Bloody Mary or Old Fashioned, sample local cheeses, sausages and beers while checking out the amazing culinary scene.

Registration will include 3 key steps:

  1. The First Course off site experience is limited to 40 attendees and will be $50 in addition to the conference registration.
  2. The Office Hours box must be checked off if you wish to schedule office hours. As always, only 1 set of appointments are available per client. If you are unsure how this works, just ask.
  3. Food Tour selection is to made upon registration. These tours will be first come first served so read up on them and be ready to make a choice. Reminder that food tours will be the afternoon of the second day - so everyone will have time to attend them. Click here for full tour descriptions.
